PEXA CEO Glenn King retirement

Melbourne, Australia: PEXA Group Limited (PEXA, the Company, or the Group) today announced the intention of the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Glenn King to retire by the end of FY24-25 – after a very successful five years with the ASX-listed digital property exchange platform and property insights solutions business.

Group Chair Mark Joiner said: “Mr King will continue to lead the PEXA Group and oversee its strategic and financial priorities until a successor is appointed, ensuring an orderly transition to new leadership. The Board is advanced in its CEO succession planning process.”

Mr King joined the PEXA Group in November 2019 after more than 30 years as a banking executive and public service leader. During his time with PEXA, he had a substantial impact on the Group – leading the IPO in 2021; orchestrating the entry into the UK; diversifying the reach into the property sector; and expanding the network coverage in Australia as a secure and robust world-leading property exchange.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to extend our sincere gratitude to Glenn for his passionate stewardship of our Company,” Mr Joiner said.

“On a personal note, Glenn has been an incredible partner and an inspiring leader for the PEXA Group Executive and our employees. His passionate advocacy for excellence in customer experience and his commitment to cultural excellence and purpose are matched by his commercial and strategic acumen.

“Glenn has taken what was a narrowly focused PEXA Exchange service in Australia and spearheaded its diversification over the course of the past five years.”

“We look forward to celebrating Glenn’s many accomplishments as his formal retirement date nears. Until then, the Board, Glenn and the leadership team are focused on executing on our growth strategy.”

On his retirement announcement, Mr King said: “Leading the PEXA Group is and has been, a unique privilege and one of which I am enormously proud.

“I continue to be humbled by the richness of talent that we have here at PEXA and our dedication to our purpose of connecting people to place. Every day we are working with our customers to make the home buying and selling transaction smooth, painless and secure. We have worked hard to deliver our world-class solutions to new markets, starting with the UK.”

“Importantly we are working with stakeholders, including government, with data solutions, that can help unlock capital for the betterment of the community. Contributing to important issues such as housing affordability and homelessness and supporting the next generation of gender diverse tech talent have also been highlights for me.”

“I look forward to continuing to lead the Group over this next period, working with Mark, the Board, and my Executive team. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark for his partnership and Directors for their incredible support of me.”

“On a personal note, after close to 40 years working with wonderful and committed people, I am excited about spending more time with my loving family and pursing interests where I can continue to make a positive contribution.
